New Public Medical Center - Vilamoura

A new Public Medical Center and Pharmacy is almost ready to open in the middle of Vilamoura. This would be the equivalent of an NHS one in the UK. The former location of the small previous one  was hidden away near the church, this is much easier to find.

It is about 50m from the Norton & Mackenzie offices on the same side of Avenido Tivoli, opposite the banks. For those who have known Vilamoura for a while it was formally the restaurant “Real Indiana” which closed 2 years ago.

Timing is interesting as it follows only a few weeks after the launch of the private one by HPA as reported in our earlier post.
